Items of Interest

21 April 2011

A few items of interest from theological blogs of note:

Dr. Peter Chojnowski investigates the economics of the Scholastics, especially the Salmanticences in Corporation Christendom: The True School of Salamanca on The Distributist Review.

Davey Henreckson of Theopolitical reviews two books, one of which, by D.A. Weir, I am now dying to read, on covenant theology.

Brad Littlejohn of The Sword and the Ploughshare, with a little help from Richard Hooker, makes an interesting critique of David VanDrunen’s investigations of early modern Christology and political thought.

Austen Ivereigh gives an interesting but, I think, unbalanced assessment of the creation of the first Anglican Ordinariate in England and Wales on American Magazine‘s blog “In All Things.”

I am interested to hear more fully your reflections on the Ivereigh piece. I am working on my own reaction to it, but I am guessing we each read it differently.

      I’d be happy to oblige.
