Upcoming Book from Brian Leiter
Brian J. Leiter of the University of Chicago has a new book forthcoming from Princeton University Press, entitled Why Tolerate Religion? Leiter, of the often interesting if rather ejaculatory Leiter Reports: A Philosophy Blog, examines the special legal status of religious institutions and observances in Western liberal democracies and argues that religion is a not peculiar claim of conscience deserving of the special status that it enjoys. It looks like an interesting read and I look forward to picking it up.
